Your Role and Responsibilities

As a #Sustainability Delivery Consultant, you will learn and experience how we apply technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery using consultative skills such as problem-solving / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. The primary focus for a consultant in this role would be the Design, Develop and deploy solutions based on IBM's Maximo Application Suite Portfolio. The role requires good knowledge and expertise on IBM's Maximo Application suite. Role also requires aptitude for learning, application of learning, innovation, strong analytical, coding and debugging skills.

To help achieve this win-win outcome, a 'day-in-the-life' in this role may include, but not be limited to...

  • Working under minimal supervision you will be analyzing and deriving outcomes for the clients' main challenges and developing solutions that help them reach true environmental targets by implementing the IBM Maximo Suite. You will be supporting the phases of design, development integration, be responsible for implementation, migration and product support with a sense of urgency.
  • Develop and validate the relevant documentation of the deliverables to the project scope and timeline. Adherence to the Maximo implementation methodology.
  • Demonstrating a natural bias towards self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
  • Analysis, cleansing and manipulation of data sets, automating data loads and configuring our technology platform to support proper integration with other downstream/upstream systems.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills as you work across the client, partner, and IBM team

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling, and influential
  • B.S. in M.I.S., Business/Communications with a STEM minor, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
  • Maximo Relevant experience - 3+ years
  • Maximo Application Suite(MAS) administration: MAS UI Configuration , Customization etc.
  • Experience in Upgrading from Maximo Asset Management (Maximo EAM 7.6.1.x to MAS Manage)
  • Database administration skills - DB Configuration , Deploy MAS Manage DB
  • Data migration from Maximo to MAS Manage : For example: DB backup , DB restore , UpdateDB
  • OpenShift knowledge
  • IBM Cloud Pak for Data
  • The second European language, additional to fluent English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong data manipulation skills, including an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential (note - a test is conducted as part of the interview process).
  • Experience in BI, data warehousing, statistical or reporting tools would be advantageous.
  • Database administration competency.
  • In addition to the above experience, the ideal candidate will have the following attributes: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take accountability.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Dynamic team player who is comfortable working in a small, but rapidly evolving environment.
  • A passion for making a difference in their profession and the environment.
