Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Storage Brand Sales Specialists are experts in the storage brand portfolio offerings and are accountable for creating demand and progressing sales opportunities, from opportunity identification through booking.

  • You will be responsible for driving optimal customer Technology outcomes and achieving strategic objectives for IBM's storage portfolio of
  • products.
  • You drive the strategy, sale, and closure of sales opportunities for select storage product offerings and use cases.
  • You achieve strategic outcomes for the storage brand and drive customer technology decision outcomes, either working in conjunction with a technical seller, or as a leader of your own account team; proactively identify and pursuing new opportunities to sell within the storage product.
  • offering portfolio; maintain contemporary technical skills and offering knowledge; and leverage marketing to drive customer lifetime value (LTV).
Preferred Location: Atlanta, GA - Charlotte, NC - Southeast US region.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with sales motions via eco-system channel partners.
  • Channel partner business development.
  • Understanding of foundational technologies found in today's data centers such as compute, network, storage, security, along with the "software defined" solutions involving these technologies.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Sales experience with IT hardware and/or software solutions.
  • Experience with IBM, Dell EMC, Hitachi, HPe, PURE, or any other storage vendors solution sales.
  • Experience with account management.
