Your role and responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. • Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that helps them reach true business value by working thru the phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration and product support with a sense of urgency .

Your Role and Responsibilities
Expert Labs is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our Expertise Connect subscription team. The Sr. Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for ensuring clients receive a higher level of service and added value when using their licensing software from IBM. The Sr. TAM has a close working relationship with the client's team and plays an integral role in helping determine the overall life cycle of their IBM software implementation.

- Takes ownership of Expertise Connect delivery, act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
- Provide proactive assistance to help clients sustain and optimize their IBM Software infrastructure
- Coordinates delivery of proactive support, skill sharing activities and problem management.
- Assist Client with development, implementation, operations, risk avoidance and mitigation strategies and plans
- Provides clients with the highest level of remote and/or on-site technical direction for specific supported products, including initiatives such as diagnostic coaching, defect and non-defect problem resolution assistance
- Provides direct support or assistance with technical queries from clients and field personnel
- Facilitate Client skills development related to the Software Products through mentoring Client personnel during activities in the performance of this service
- Lead a team of TAMs / associate TAMs assigned to their accounts
- Engage to assist TAMs / associate TAMs on critical / highly escalated / tough client tasks
- Act as Champion to address bottlenecks with client delivery related to complex product issues during proactive or reactive support
- Act as mentor to TAMs / Associate TAMs
- Assist Practice Manager/s during renewals or sizing of new opportunities
- Develop reusable assets / best practices for Expert Lab
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8+ years Industry experience
- Expertise on at least one IBM Software product (IBM Cloud, Data & AI, Integration or AI Application). More than one product would be a plus
- 8+ years of experience in a customer facing position, prior TAM type role is advantageous
- 8+ years of outstanding customer relationship management experience is must
- Technical Sales or Services sales experience would be a plus
- Collaboration skills
- IBM Software Product Certification (IBM Cloud, Data & AI, Integration or AI Application)
- PMP Certified
- Our team supports IBM Customers world wide and some roles may require rotating shift work or regularly working hours that align with client core business hours around the globe. Eligibility for these roles will be discussed during the interview process.
- Fluency in English is required, additional qualifications supporting other languages spoken to support global customer base would be an asset.
