The IBM Innovation Studio in Amsterdam supports all of IBM and our Ecosystem, to bring together the best experts to help clients gain insights, re-frame their business challenge, and create a roadmap with clear next steps.

We tailor engagements to meet our client where they are in their transformation journey, by providing easy access to our extensive IBM SME network, custom demos & PoCs.
You will join a team whose mission is to design and deliver a wide range of experiential engagements for IBM's clients. With the objective of accelerating our client's path-to-value, we manage the execution of everything from large scale multi-client events through to single-client co-creation programmes - both physically and virtually.
As our Solution Architect, you:
• Collaborate with Innovation Studio global developer teams to co-create the required showcases and activations
• Source available content and roll them out to the local site
• Develop new use cases and experiences; customize and deliver technical demonstrations to clients
• Maintain showcases and other Studio content, as well as the underlying infrastructure, over their lifecycle
• Design and implement tangible Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Proof of Technologies (PoTs) for client engagements leveraging various technologies, vendors, platforms, and styles of computing
• Define next technical steps for client engagement, and frame technical roadmaps with clients
• Stay up to date on business and technology trends and emerging client needs
• Prep technical SMEs for workshops and provide input/feedback to content team
• Lead architecture workshops and design thinking sessions with clients
• Manage architectural and technical infrastructure setup for the Amsterdam Studio
The role is client-facing and you will be working 4-5 days a week at our purpose-built, Amsterdam Innovation Studio.
You will be flexible in both the day-to-day tasks you will deliver, and in your time, as some engagements will be out of normal office hours (infrequent but flexibility required).
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You will:
• possess in-depth technical knowledge of Hybrid Cloud, multicloud, AI and foundation models, and infrastructure solutions
• have hands-on experience with IBM products, solutions, technologies, and tools
• have had training in Architectural Thinking coupled with experience in business and enterprise architecture
• be proficient in agile methods and Design Thinking principles
• possess strong presentation and visualization skills
• understand and be able to execute on co-creation processes, e.g. for prototypes, PoCs, PoTs etc.
• be able to conceive, develop, and deliver innovative solutions
• be collaborative and flexible; work well in teams and speak fluent English and Dutch
