As a software developer on the IBM Aspera team, you will work with a talented team of peers, designers and offering managers. You will be developing various common components and microservices. The ideal candidate should have the drive to solve complex software issues with innovation and creativity. Writing concise and performant software, unit tests and well documented code should come naturally to you. We are looking for someone who loves to experiment and not be afraid of failures.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Backend development and Devops
in Ruby/Golang/Elixir/Scala/Spark / java / Ruby on Rails - - Dev and Architect the micro-services
- Solid understanding of application security, web applications as well as micro-services
- You have engineering discipline to produce software with quality - Jenkins docker
HTML , Java script - Key Skills: Ruby/Golang/Elixir/Scala/Spark / java / Ruby on Rails -
- Vast experience in developing software for SaaS
- Architect micro-services -

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, scripting language Helm, docker, application management through Operator, orchestration tools such as Argo CD, or Chef, and .
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and logging tools such as Kibana.
- Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Cassandra.
- Experience with event based tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, memory cache using Redis.
- Experience with search engine database such as ElasticSearch or similar
