Your role and responsibilities
As a software developer in technical operations, you'll be responsible to design, code, modernize and maintain software applications adhered to strict security standards to enable the IBM Infrastructure development organization.

You will be responsible to implement modern solutions in the front and back end of web applications to comply with IBM high security standards. Complex troubleshooting activities as well as continuous and collaborative work with a multinational team is expected.
Ability to change and adapt to aggressive timelines while identifying and focusing on the most relevant and impactful work is part of the regular team operation.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Proficiency with languages such as Java, Ruby, PHP, MySQL, SQL, and Python
Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
Understanding of object-oriented programming
Experience with the design and implementation of APIs
Understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN, Git, and Mercurial
Understanding of code management tools such as Subversion, Git, and Helix Core
Track record of successfully managing multiple company or customer websites
Excellent time-management and communication skills
