Your role and responsibilities

"As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.

The role seeks good levels of personal organisation and the ability to work well within a distributed global team in a fast paced and exciting environment. You will be office based, working with senior software engineers who will help you integrate into the team, the department and wider IBM. You will be joining a development squad following Design Thinking and Agile principles where you are expected to collaboratively develop creative solutions. The work can be varied, flexibility to learn new technologies and skills is key as we look look to help grow your career within IBM. Required technical and professional expertise

• Software Development Expertise: Strong background in software development with 5+ years of experience, demonstrating expertise in programming languages such as Golang, Python,
• Experience with API Development
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with development teams to identify potential weak spots, inefficiencies, and issues within software systems, fostering a collaborative approach to software quality. Strong knowledge in manual Software Testing concepts.
• Cloud Technology Proficiency: Experience with cloud-based technologies, showcasing familiarity with modern cloud ecosystems and tools AWS /AZURE/ IBM Cloud
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions.
• Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work seamlessly as part of a team, contributing to collective goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Preferred technical and professional experience

- Experience with Azure container Apps, container registry, Kubernetes services ( AKS), Azure Functions.
- Compute services
- Fargate, ECS, EKS and EC2, Lambda.
- Experience in API Gateway, MSK, Application load Balancer.

- DevOps, integration with QA tools, VA security tools, S3 and DB.
- Experience of working with Serverless Computing, GCE,GKE,GAE and Google Cloud functions.
- Good working knowledge on Apigee, GCP Cloud Storage (GCS), Cloud BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Dataproc Cloud BigTable, Anthos, Auto ML etc.
- Database RDS, Aurora - Postgres, MySQL engine, No Sql - Dynamo DB, MongoDB etc.
