maintain, support, and help to enhance multiple aspects of the Z environment. Must be enthusiastic about modernizing systems to be cloud optimized and a passion for looking to improve processed with more automation, reduction of toil and visibility (data) into system insights

Planning, installing, configuring, and implementing z/VM
Installing, migrating, and enabling z/VM
Planning, configuring, and implementing z/VM for continuous availability across planned or unplanned outage of any single hardware or software element.
Planning, installing, testing, and implementing z/VM service level upgrade and patches.
Planning, monitoring, and implementing configuration changes to enhance z/VM performance.
Creating and deploying z/VM guests and operating systems
Installation, configuration, and administration of zVM Linux
Customizing, patching, and securing zVM Linux
Planning and implementing support for disaster recovery.
Providing technical assistance to IBM CIO programmers.
May require rotating 24x7 on-call support responsibility as well as weekend support
