Role Overview:
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help maintain and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a background in software development, IT operations, or system administration who are eager to learn and grow in the field of site reliability engineering. The Junior SRE will work closely with senior engineers to monitor system health, automate processes, and respond to incidents to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix system administration.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or willingness to learn.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Interest in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack) is a plus.
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP, Load Balancing).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support and incident response.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with chaos engineering and site reliability best practices.
- Prior experience in DevOps or Software Engineering roles.
