Your role and responsibilities
Role Overview:
Manage the end-to-end offboarding process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for separated employees while maintaining compliance with regional legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue necessary documentation to separated employees in German and assist with employee and manager queries in German.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a timely and seamless exit process.
- Continuously review and improve processes in line with ESA principles (Eliminate, Automate, and Simplify).
- Communicate professionally, positively, and transparently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential information with appropriate sensitivity and discretion.
- Identify, investigate, analyze, and resolve process-related issues to enhance employee experience.
- Monitor and process tickets in the ticketing system, resolving and closing escalated cases.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring all required documentation is prepared in advance.
- Collaborate on final pay inputs with the payroll team and ensure timely full and final settlements as per regional legal deadlines.
- Contribute to internal reporting, dashboard metrics, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Stay updated on employment laws and best practices related to offboarding.
- Participate in other HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Business fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential - must provide a German language certification.
- 2-3 years of experience in HR operations, with a growth mindset and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Understanding of regional payroll processes and proficiency in HR software/tools (preferred).
- Strong business email writing skills.
- Willingness to work on weekends when required for critical projects.
