• Strategy & Vision: Develop and champion the overall AIOps strategy and roadmap, aligning it with the department's and organization's strategic objectives. Define clear goals, KPIs, and success metrics for the AIOps program.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing AIOps team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
• Solution Implementation: Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of AIOps tools and platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing IT systems and workflows.
• Data Management & Analytics: Establish robust data governance practices to ensure the quality, availability, and security of data used for AIOps. Drive the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights from IT data.
• Automation & Optimization: Lead the effort to automate IT operations processes using AI and machine learning, focusing on areas such as incident management, problem management, change management, and capacity planning. Drive continuous optimization of IT infrastructure and applications.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate the value and benefits of AIOps to key stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and business users. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for the AIOps program.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with AIOps vendors, ensuring that they meet our requirements and provide ongoing support. Negotiate contracts and manage budgets effectively.
• Innovation & Research: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AIOps and related technologies. Encourage experimentation and exploration of new approaches to improve IT operations.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for the AIOps program, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.

• Excellent people and project management track record. Seasoned professional with hands on managing performance of the world class engineering team
• In-depth understanding of all aspects of the software development processes and excellent cross-team collaboration skills. Agile development experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with implementation techniques to improve efficiency and ensure on-time project completion.
• Experience working with development teams to make sure they adhere to the product development lifecycle process. You'll drive the development team in their delivery of milestones and checkpoints.
• Track record of collaborating across functions to improve software products.
• Strong background and proven track record in engineering project management of complex software products.
• Experience working in a complex software development environment, preferably in Cloud
• Proven track record in handling customer situations related to the product/service owned
• Domain experience in software virtualization, distributed systems software.
• Extensive experience in IT operations, with a significant focus on automation, monitoring, and analytics.
• Deep understanding of AI and machine learning principles and their application in IT operations
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is a plus benefit
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects at the same time, recognizing and mitigating risks, and working proactively on contingency plans. Experience with Rally Project Management tools is a big plus!
