Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in the implementation and support of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and to grow our business in this area. Our philosophy is the LMS is a tool that supports a client's overall workforce development strategy, providing the platform to host skilling and upskilling opportunities to keep pace and drive organizational performance. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in LMS, leveraging skills and competency frameworks for workforce development and has a deep understanding of the total learning architecture framework. You will be responsible for leading LMS implementations, providing strategic guidance, and actively contributing and leading business development initiatives.

Your primary responsibilities include:
LMS Implementation:
• Lead and manage complex LMS implementation projects from inception to completion.
• Configure and customize LMS platforms to meet specific client requirements.
• Oversee data migration, integration, and system testing processes.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LMS issues.
Project Management:
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership in the delivery of complex projects.
• Works closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
Learning Architecture:
• Advise clients on the design and optimization of their learning architecture
• Assess current learning strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop innovative learning solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of learning technologies.
Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to LMS implementations and consulting services.
• Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential new clients.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Master's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing and supporting LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle Workplace, Cornerstone OnDemand, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday Learning).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing learning architecture solutions and strategies.
• At least 10 years of experience in business development and client relationship management.

This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the US government

Preferred technical and professional experience

• 3 years - In-depth knowledge of the total learning architecture framework.
• 3 years - Implementation and management of Competency/Skills Frameworks
• 3 years - Knowledge of change management methods and how it integrates with the learning strategy
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Prosci Certification

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
