SECURITY ARCHITECT, AI, AUTOMATION

Your role and responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and GCP.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Python, JSON, and Slack APIs to enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with SecDevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like FedRAMP and NIST.

• Ensure all automation and architectural solutions adhere to compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, SOC2, and NIST standards.

• Assist in documenting processes and workflows to align with audit and compliance requirements.

• Communicate technical findings and proposals effectively to team members, stakeholders, and leadership.

• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required education

Required technical and professional expertise

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, automation development, or SecDevOps roles.

• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, IBM Cloud, or Azure.

• Working knowledge of automation tools and programming languages, including Python, JSON, and Slack APIs.

• Knowledge of varying compliance standards and their relevance to regulated customers.

• Basic understanding of compliance standards such as FedRAMP, SOC2, and NIST CSF.

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Fundamentals, or similar are a plus.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery.

• Proactive and eager to take initiative in learning and solving problems.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills, including the ability to discuss complex topics with both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISM, or Security+.

• Experience working with high-availability, high-performance, multi-data center systems, or multi-cloud environments.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
