Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Consultant with expertise in Plant Maintenance (PM) and a strong background in the utilities sector. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with related modules such as Investment Management (IM), Project Systems (PS), and Project and Portfolio Management (PPM). You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP solutions to meet the specific needs of our utility clients, ensuring seamless integration across modules and delivering value-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design and Implementation:
- Lead workshops to gather business requirements and design SAP solutions in PM, IM, PS, and PPM.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Configure and customize SAP PM and related modules to align with business requirements.
2. Integration and Cross-Module Expertise:
- Ensure seamless integration of PM with IM, PS, and PPM for effective asset and investment management.
- Collaborate with other SAP module experts (e.g., FI/CO, MM) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
3. Project Leadership:
- Provide technical and functional leadership during SAP implementation or upgrade projects.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
4. Process Optimization:
- Analyze existing business processes in the utilities sector and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP best practices.
- Optimize maintenance strategies, investment planning, and project portfolio management processes.
5. Client Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with utility sector clients, understanding their unique challenges.
- Provide post-implementation support, resolve issues, and identify areas for enhancement.
6. Documentation and Training:
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including functional specs, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
- 8+ years of SAP consulting experience, with at least 5 years in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Demonstrated experience in the utilities sector is required.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP Investment Management (IM), Project Systems (PS), and Project and Portfolio Management (PPM).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization in PM and related modules.
- Understanding of integration points with FI/CO, MM, and other SAP modules.
- Familiarity with S/4HANA and SAP Activate methodology is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead project streams independently
