Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Governance Support Specialist, you will:
  • Support implementation governance structures and processes across the organization.
  • Support proper governance, including the creation of policies and guidelines that comply with Federal travel regulations.
  • Ensure organizational adherence to governance policies and guidelines
  • Review regulations, assess risk strategies and/or overseeing compliance audits
  • Facilitate workshops and planning sessions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience managing and rolling out complex SAP (or other large ERP) programs across multiple business units
  • Convey complex governance and compliance issues in a clear, succinct and impactful manner to various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Previous experience in the development of policy documentation (particularly information or data standards and guidelines preferred).
  • Understanding of governance principles, including familiarity with the core objectives of data governance
  • Strong verbal and written skills are essential.
  • Ability to adapt to continuously changing environments.
  • Facilitates workshops and planning sessions
  • At least 2-3 years of federal program governance support

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
