SAP FIN CO Consultant

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

A managing consultant assists clients in the selection, implementation and support of SAP Enterprise Management in all financial and cross functional aspects. Uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP Finance packaged technology into the client's business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.
Provides ongoing technical/operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conducts special projects, or manages department(s) (national or international). Understands department/ functional mission and vision. Utilizes expertise to directly influence people outside department or function. Defines and decides objectives within specified business concept or project and may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources.
Recognizes complex problems related to functional objectives. Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment. Analyzes situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures or processes.

Required technical and professional expertise

1. Understanding of project financial requirements and financial data of the organization
2. Must possess deep knowledge on SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) in S4 HANA
3. Experienced in the cross functional integration with Other modules, namely SAP Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, CRM, Supply Chain & Production Planning and all the financial accounting sub-modules including Accounts Receivable, Banking & Treasury, Taxation, Fixed Assets Management, Accounts Payable & Funds Management besides thorough knowledge and experience in Master Data, conversion and all WRICEF development objects among other skills.
4. Should have good working knowledge of SAP PA, PCA, CCA besides an understanding of Material Ledger and Product Costing.
5. Should have worked at clients to support and integrate Indirect Solution Applications, such as One Source, or Vertex, Blackline, etc, with SAP.
6. Knowledge of SAP Electronic Invoicing, AFC would be nice to have.
7. Has extensive in-depth process knowledge in industries such as Consumer, Energy & Utilities, Telecommunications, Insurance, Travel & Transport, Pharma, Electronic or Public.
8. Must be S/4 HANA certified in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting

Preferred technical and professional experience

1. Must be S/4 HANA certified in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting
2. Familiarity or experience with Cloud Computing Platforms: Including IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
3. Knowledge of Agile methodologies: Hands on experience with project management methodologies like Agile.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
