experience and make a meaningful impact. This internship will provide exposure to IBM sales and the best practices used to prospect and progress sales opportunities.
What will you do?
Sales enablement supports our sellers through various training, enablement, and sales programs. You will help develop our sales campaigns, build out sales playbooks, and help coordinate various education sessions.
Detailed Project Opportunities:
Create Content:
- Develop new and engaging content for inclusion in our enablement
programs. - Craft content in a way that resonates with professionals, ensuring it is
relevant and impactful. - Collaborate with the training team to enhance
existing training modules. - Utilize platforms such as Seismic or Your Learning to publish and share the
created content. - Help to incorporate multimedia elements, interactive
content, or gamification to increase engagement.
Evaluate the effectiveness of enablement programs by collecting success
metrics and identifying areas for improvement. Conduct seller interviews to
gather valuable feedback and insights. Help identify any unexplored gaps in
our programs.
User Experience:
Evaluate the user experience of sales enablement platforms and materials.
Propose improvements to the user interface and overall accessibility.
Solicit feedback from end-users to understand their preferences and pain
points.
Job Shadow:
Shadow senior enablement leaders, gain insights into their day-to-day
responsibilities. Learn by attending meetings and understand how we
address seller enablement needs. Assist in creating content for LinkedIn
blogs based on the experience and knowledge gained.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Currently pursuing a Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications or Education major
- Self-motivated and focused
- Strong communications skill
- Able to articulate concepts, ideas, recommendations and proposals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
