Your Role and Responsibilities

This is for a 2025 summer internship with the following start dates: May - August or June - September for quarter system schools.

  • Advance the development of quantum computing systems and infrastructure including the datacenters that they reside in.
  • Learn new quantum engineering techniques and incorporate those principles into work processes for building the next generation of quantum computers.
  • Participate in corporate events, executive speaker series, and showcase effective time management.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior, in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, or similar program.
  • Have a broad mechanical understanding and experience with CAD modeling, simulation, assembly, fabrication, and basic electrical systems.
  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Have ability and motivation to work in a hands-on environment (e.g. labs / datacenters)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with basic hand tools, power tools, and fabrication.
  • Experience with analyzing existing electromechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and pursue creative approaches to technical problems.
  • Experience working in a lab or datacenter environment.
