In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities
As an entry level Test Specialist at IBM, your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create, and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best. Come work in an agile environment where you will help each iteration reach the next level. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role you may be responsible for:
- Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Katalon, Cucumber, etc.
- Create test data and test environments
- Write and execute test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identify errors and validate successes for any software solution
- Identify, understand, and document all programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specification goals for the given program, application or set of applications
- Do a deep-dive and present test results to clients and project teams clearly
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC) , Software Testing Lifeccycle (STLC) ,Test Methodologies and defect life cycle Knowledge and experience in analysing Software Requirement Specification and identifying and creating the required test scenarios, test cases, test data and document traceability matrix to ensure sufficient test coverage.
- Experience in executing test cases and test plans to support the quality assurance activities throughout the software lifecycle.
- Experience in API testing using postman.
- Experience in collaborating with other stakeholders and devise the test objectives, test strategies and test plans.
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
