Your Role and Responsibilities
The role of the Quality Content Acquisition Specialist is to write engaging abstracts for business content, cleanse and contribute to IBM's knowledge sharing portal Lighthouse.

• Receives nominated documents and cleansing guidelines from Knowledge Services Consultant and Sr Knowledge Services Consultant

• Manages the logistics of collecting and contributing assets to Lighthouse, ensures documents are cleansed in line with business requirements
• Identifies any lack of quality or missing information prior to contribution and liaises with Knowledge Services Consultant and Sr Knowledge Services Consultant to bridge the gaps.
• Contributes the documents into the Lighthouse
• Ensures classification and tagging is aligned to correct taxonomy values
• Perform content curation activities such as reviewing, rating, social tagging to help surface the quality content in the search results.
• Updates status in Jira with relevant information that conveys the successful contribution to Lighthouse
• Participates and contributes to the KS initiatives and objectives regularly.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write and edit with speed and accuracy; excellent command over English language to create clear, engaging abstracts for business content
• Exposure to Knowledge Sharing best practices
• Must have an eye for detail; Quality Assurance experience is an added advantage.
• Drive to achieve a set of specific tasks and targets with minimal supervision whilst demonstrating strong time management and quality output.
• Ability to attain firm command of Knowledge Sharing, Collaboration, Social Networking, and other tools
• Ability to understand project deliverables and link them to the overall project objective and to work independently and achieve targets
• Working with global teams
• Working proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Graduate/post-graduate with experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications is desirable
