Your Role and Responsibilities

  • This role will be within the centralized PMO function and will support key programs and provide operational support for central business rhythms.
  • Consistently deliver programs and meet goals on time
  • Identify opportunities to align projects to business-critical initiatives, and drive cross-functional programs to improve team performance and abilities
  • Take a thoughtful and strategic approach to getting work done and prioritizing and escalating where appropriate
  • Go deep technically when necessary to understand software architecture and software development fundamentals
  • Work well with ambiguity and know how to engage leaders cross-functionally to build a plan and communicate to a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Take the initiative to work on various programs when asked, jumping in where needed to support the broader company goals

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 4+ years of work experience in related field
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science / Software Engineering
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and driven to keep people and processes organized
  • Experience in core project management competencies including budget, scope, schedule, requirements, quality, risk and critical path management
  • Project and time management and organization skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Sufficient technical depth to understand and participate in design, tooling, and implementation discussions and decisions
  • Passion and excitement for new technologies
  • Technical expertise in DevOps framework and Cloud native tools (i.e.AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience interacting with customers, senior executives, and business leaders
  • Interest in identifying opportunities for engineering training, skills development and growth
  • Knowledge of business operations
  • Hands on experience implementing new engineering operational processes
  • Seeks to develop systems thinking skills, business acumen (ROI, cost-benefit analysis), and a department-wide perspective to decision making
  • Advanced knowledge/education in engineering
