Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Communicate with Stakeholders (Executives, Development Managers, Product Managers, Project
Managers, Developers, Architects, Security compliance teams, etc.) - Leadership and influence, sometimes without explicit authority
- Ability to prioritize deliverables
- Build out technical roadmap and negotiate timelines across multiple teams
- Understand mainframe technology enough to manage the projects
- Agile development experience
- Leadership and collaboration skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Deal with ambiguit
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
- 6+ years of experience in technical program management or product development or equivalent
experience. - 3+ years of professional experience practicing formal project management methodologies, particularly
Agile-based - Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- Have significantly experienced in handling a variety of products and programs
- Expertise in a key technology or platform like mainframe development in a prior role
- Certification such as project management is a plus.
