Your Role and Responsibilities
Position Overview: The Technical Program Manager - Talent & Employee Experience will play a pivotal role in planning and executing our EPH / Intern program for TEL GDC India. He/she will be responsible to identify the demands and work with both UR team internal practice teams to work on hiring strategy, approvals and complete the hiring process. Once the Interns join, this program manager will identify and allocate the projects, assign learnings working Talent academy and practice managers, assess the progress and report.

Once learnings are completed, deploy them to projects during internship and monitor and track the projects status and share the update with TEL GDC managements. Its imperative that program manager has broad knowledge on IBM products across portfolios to prepare learning paths and also come up with innovative approaches to develop/harness assets / accelerators by working closely with practice managers. He/she will be owning the responsibility in enhancing employee experiences of Interns / EPH and fostering impactful partnerships both internally and externally. This role will take functional direction and report to India GDC PMO leader.

1. Talent Leadership:
o Work in relationship with the TEL Talent Academy and roll out programs specific to Interns in GDCs as required
o Design, implement, and oversee their learning aimed at identifying, nurturing, and developing high-potential employees.
o Collaborate with practice heads to create personalized development plans and learning paths for employees at all levels.
o Evaluate and curate external training programs to supplement internal learning initiatives.

2. Technical Leadership:
o Identify potential assets / accelerators working with practice managers and design that as projects
o Has adequate knowledge on IBM Middleware suite of Products
o Strong understanding of container technologies - Docker, Kubernetes
o Has knowledge of Microservices Architecture
o Has deployment / development experience in technical environments
o Provides guidance / technical insights to Interns and make them deployable for customer projects.
o Allocate Interns post required trainings for these projects

3. Employee Experience Enhancement:
o Develop and execute seamless onboarding program for EPHs and Lateral hire to integrate them well into Technology Expert Labs GDCs
o Develop and drive employee engagement programs to build the cohesivity and
o Develop and execute strategies to create a positive and inclusive employee experience.
o Lead initiatives that contribute to a vibrant workplace culture, employee engagement, and overall job satisfaction.
o Implement feedback mechanisms to measure and continuously improve the employee experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experienced Technical Delivery: Seasoned technical Delivery management, with proven experience of IBM product services delivery teams to understand the skills gap and help onboard GSI partners
  • Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrable mastery for collaboration and driving resolution with a cross functional team.
  • Experience in managing complex / multiple expert labs product services, with adherence to compliance standards
  • IBM Software / HW Technology Experience: Experience in understand various IBM products and work with delivery team on the gaps to build the plan on ramp up and work with Partners on building their delivery team to meet our pipeline with focus in IT Automation, AI Ops and IBM Integration Technologies

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • B.E/B Tech Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering
  • Proven experience in Project Technical planning & Delivery, Technical Project Management and coaching and mentoring early professional development
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with modern HR technologies and learning management systems.
