Your Role and Responsibilities
The Go to Market Product Manager, Digital Growth, supports the brands and services that leverage the IBM Cloud Catalog for product delivery and consumption with promotional code strategy and administration, digital adoption tooling, and more.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for understanding competitive market environment for digital tools, strategies and approaches, administering and executing our current strategy across tools like WalkMe, Marketo, and our Promo Code Tool, and influencing new methods to retain and grow the client base in no-to-low-touch engagement models. Desirable candidates will be outcome-focused, quick to learn new toolsets, comfortable building and enforcing sound governance models, and strong in strategizing and executing initiatives across multiple brands and teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Management. Sales, Digital, Product Management or Marketing experience is desired.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years' experience in Go to Market Product Management or equivalent practical experience in outbound product management, sales, or marketing of products in a Cloud or Software as a Service organization.
  • Understanding of product management lifecycle and practices
  • Has a challenging mindset that will question processes and procedures and constantly strive to simplify and improve delivery and increase speed to market.
  • Able to work autonomously and take balanced decisions.
  • Strong communicator able to manage a wide audience at all levels of the organization through delivering simple and business driven messages.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills with ability to bring these to bear in all decision making and use them to demonstrate impact on all intiatives that they lead.
  • Positive can-do mind-set that is undaunted by challenges and relishes fixing and improving processes
  • Good customer facing skills and able to manage client expectations.
  • Able to build broad relationships and coalitions across the organization and to align different stakeholder to a common goal and vision.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions and low-level technical discussions.
  • Understanding of cloud offering capabilities and security, compliance and regulatory landscape for IBM Cloud.
  • Practical knowledge of GTM strategy and working with marketing and sales.
  • Track record of high-quality, self-directed, timely execution, and attention to detail.
