• Lead efforts to manage and analyse tail spend data extracted primarily from multiple Client systems. Conduct thorough analyses to identify cost reduction opportunities and present actionable recommendations.

• Collaboratively build initiatives aimed at aggregating, consolidating, and eliminating unnecessary expenditures. Engage regularly with Telstra stakeholders to evaluate potential savings and risks, securing their approvals for proposed actions.

• Produce comprehensive reports summarizing tail spend analytics, highlighting significant reductions achieved, and tracking ongoing projects. Ensure meticulous documentation of all inputs, outputs, and performance metrics according to established guidelines.

• Adhere strictly to procedural standards set forth in the Desktop Top Procedure (DTP). Regularly conduct auditing checks against predefined control points to maintain accurate records and adherence to policies.

• Facilitate regular meetings with Telstra representatives to communicate updates, address concerns, and gather input necessary for effective decision making. Utilize platforms like Jira for seamless coordination among cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrate expertise in utilizing analytical software suites essential for performing complex evaluations. Leverage resources such as PowerBI dashboards, Sapphire purchase orders, and Scout contract details to derive meaningful business intelligence.

• Extract and Analyse Spending Data: Utilize tools such as PowerBI, SAPphire, Scout, and others to gather comprehensive spending data across categories. Conduct thorough analyses to ensure accuracy and relevancy.

• Identification of Cost Savings Opportunities: Leverage analytical skills to detect potential savings through aggregations, consolidations, eliminations, and contract negotiations. Collaboratively build action plans around these opportunities.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly interact with Telstra Category Managers and Procurement Specialists to present findings, obtain approvals, and coordinate execution efforts. Ensure alignment with broader business objectives.

• Report Generation and Monitoring Progress: Develop periodic reports detailing opportunities, risks, and achievements. Continually monitor project status and track realized values against planned initiatives.

• Internal Reviews and Quality Checks: Perform regular reviews and checks to maintain data integrity and adherence to established policies and procedures. Coordinate internal auditing mechanisms to mitigate procedural lapses.
