Your Role and Responsibilities
Partner Technical Specialist - Territory (PTS-T) for Major Accounts will play as a technical leader role to oversee IBM's Hybrid Cloud and AI agenda among Major Accounts in Hong Kong. PTS-T for Major Accounts will also play Architect role to collaborate among various technical, services and sales teams to achieve business objectives.
The candidate should have track record of successful project engagement, industry solution architecture design and project implementation experience among large enterprise in Hong Kong (inc. Banking and Finance, Utilities, Retails industries etc). Candidate should have good knowledge of Automation, Data and AI solution portfolio in the market, preferably with IBM Software portfolio experience, in one or more area, like Database, DataOps, AI, Integration solution, Java Application Servers, Container Platform etc. Candidate could lead cross teams to complete technical engagement like Minimum Viable Project (MVP), Proof of Concept (PoC), Solution Demonstration or Technical Workshops to drive for new technical initiatives among our Major Accounts
PTS-T for Major Accounts should be highly motivated, collaborative and a self-starter and will play direct role in driving and growing market share and among those major accounts.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor Degree holder from Computer Science / Information Technology / Data Science / Engineering relevant discipline is expected
- 5+ years working experience in the area of IT solution design and/or application development. Candidate should demonstrate the following attributes:
- Good understanding of IT solution with successful project experience / track records at large enterprise in Hong Kong
- Pre-sales Technical Experience to collaborate with Sales to achieve business goals
- Good knowledge of solution portfolio in the area of Automation, Data and AI solution, preferably with IBM Software portfolio experience in one or more area, such as Database, DataOps, AI, Integration solution, Java Application Servers, Container platform etc.
- Quick Learner to pick-up IBM or industry or open-source solution know-hows and to understand the value proposition of our offerings to address client business pain-points
- Astute in presenting to and conversing with customers; ability to deliver technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong affinity for customer relationship management and requirements gathering
- Able to provide support occasionally beyond usual business hours
- Fluent in English and Cantonese. Mandarin will be an added advantage
