Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a creative individual with a hunger for innovation and expertise in Paid Media and advertisting investment planning to join our Paid Media Center of Excellence for Japan. This person will work with IBM brand and demand Generation Marketing teams and external agency partners to set strategic priorities, help translate marketing objectives/goals into integrated and data driven media plans, identify correct media opportunities, tactics and define audience targeting approaches. They will help develop and evaluate paid media programs during all planning and execution phases, adhering to best practices while leveraging data and digital performance marketing tactics and technology.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 6 to 8 years cross discipline digital media planning (display, SEM, mobile, etc.) experience required with demonstrable record of campaign management, digital media innovation and increasing media spend efficiency and ROI metrics.
  • Experience or familiarity with digital marketing tools: ad servers, DSPs, and paid social and audience management platforms.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail for tracking and reporting.
  • Experience working collaboratively with marketing colleagues and business leaders at all levels and ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical audience,
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with B2B/Technology and/or demand driven digital media campaigns including webcasts, Content Syndication, emerging media platforms, and drive to registration activity (a plus).
  • Knowledge in brand and digital marketing in Japan - opportunities and challenge.
  • Expert skills in Excel.
