Your role and responsibilities

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP BTP and Fiori developer/consultant to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and Fiori applications to drive business innovation and growth.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop SAP BTP and Fiori applications to meet business requirements, leveraging SAP's cloud-based platform and Fiori user experience design principles
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
Develop and implement custom Fiori apps, including user interface design, data modeling, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems
Design and develop APIs and microservices to integrate with SAP BTP and other systems
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with SAP BTP and Fiori applications
Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, coding, testing, and deployment
Stay up-to-date with SAP BTP and Fiori technology advancements and best practices
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Requirements:
Experience in SAP BTP and Fiori development
Strong understanding of SAP BTP and Fiori architecture, including SAP Cloud Platform, SAP UI5, and SAP Fiori
Proficiency in SAP Cloud Platform SDK, SAP UI5, and SAP Fiori tools and technologies
Experience with API development, data modeling, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Valid work permit or Canadian citizenship

Preferred technical and professional experience

Nice to Have:
Experience with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP UI5, and SAP Fiori development tools and technologies
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and microservices architecture
Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) Legally eligible to work in Canada *Willingness to relocate to Calgary
