As an IBM Associate Business Consultant within Federal, you will help IBM clients solve some of their most challenging business problems, capitalize on market opportunities, and understand leading technologies and the impact they can have on traditional business processes.

  • Learning and adopting consulting skills and business knowledge to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client's business environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance while in IBM Consulting - Federal. Willingness to travel up to 100%
  • Outcome focused, possessing a high level of resilience, you demonstrate the flexibility and resolve needed to achieve success a across a broad range of consultative contexts
  • Ability to understand clients' needs and challenges and apply creative and logical approach to identify solutions. Openness to assist clients in the design, business architect, process development, functional implementation, and support of applications.
  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights and experience mapping capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, able to build direct working relationships across all levels of the IBM and client teams

  • Demonstrates a strong drive to tackle challenges, improve results, and innovate while understanding diverse perspectives.
