Your role and responsibilities
A Senior SAP FI (Financial Accounting) Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP FI solutions to support financial operations within an organization. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, configuring SAP systems, and ensuring the integration of financial processes with other SAP modules.

SAP FI Implementation & Configuration
- Lead and manage full lifecycle SAP FI implementations, from business blueprinting to post-go-live support.
- Configure SAP FI modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Financial Close & Consolidation
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules like CO (Controlling), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and HR.
- Work with finance and business teams to analyze requirements and optimize financial processes.
- Identify and recommend best practices and automation to improve financial efficiency.
- Support SAP S/4HANA Finance migration and adoption.
- Provide expert-level support to resolve SAP FI-related issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system errors, inconsistencies, and reporting issues.
- Support end-users by providing guidance and training on SAP FI functionalities.
- Develop and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local financial regulations.
- Document configurations, process flows, and system customizations.
- Assist in the design and development of financial reports using SAP FIORI, SAP BW/BI, and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
- Work closely with ABAP developers for customizations when needed.

Required technical and professional expertise
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP FI implementations and support.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration.
- Knowledge of integration with SAP CO, MM, SD, HR.
- Understanding of Financial Closing Cockpit (FCC)
- Experience in SAP Fiori and SAP BW/BI Reporting.
- Ability to write functional specifications for ABAP developers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead workshops, train users, and manage projects.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- SAP FI Certification
- Understanding of SAP Treasury
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance
