Your role and responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that helps them reach true business value by working thru the phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration and product support with a sense of urgency . Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing agile plans where you are responsible for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations. Technical Solution Workshops: Conducting and participating in technical solution workshops. Building Effective Relationships: Developing successful relationships at all levels -from engineers to CxOs-with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach healthy resolutions. Self-Motivated Problem Solver: Demonstrating a natural bias towards self-motivation, curiosity, initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions. Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills as you work across the client, partner, and IBM team.
We are looking for an OpenShift Administrator to manage and maintain our OpenShift platform, which serves various AI applications, including IBM watsonx.ai and other AI workloads. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift, ensuring the platform is optimized for performance, security, and scalability to support AI-driven workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the OpenShift platform, ensuring availability and reliability for AI applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AI workloads running on OpenShift, including Watsonx.ai and other machine learning services.
- Manage OpenShift networking, storage, and security configurations to support AI deployments.
- Automate operational tasks using Ansible, Shell scripting, or other automation tools.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize AI models and applications on OpenShift.
- Work closely with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to ensure infrastructure meets AI workload requirements.
- Implement scaling strategies, resource management, and performance tuning for AI applications.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in OpenShift environments.
- Maintain system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and upgrade OpenShift clusters as needed.

Required technical and professional expertise
- 2-3 years of experience in OpenShift administration.
- Hands-on experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing AI applications or ML workloads on OpenShift is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and logging solutions.
- Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or Ansible is a plus.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- OpenShift or Kubernetes certification (CKA, OpenShift Certified Specialist).
- Exposure to IBM watsonx.ai or other AI/ML platforms.
- Experience with GPU-based workloads on OpenShift.
