As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Maintain cloud security management solutions including the design phase and ongoing configuration of related automation, notifications, and reporting capabilities.
Work with a variety of security platforms and work with multi-disciplinary teams to migrate associated components to cloud services. Identify and troubleshoot cloud security events and issues as well as work with cloud service providers to efficiently solve issues or implement workarounds. Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluate alternatives. Analyze new and emerging technologies and tools for applicability to the customer. Prepare reports and/or recommendations of new and/or changing processes/products.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Over 1 year of experience in cloud security focusing on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical área (Information Technology Systems, Telecommunications Engineer or similares)
  • Proven experience in maintaining security solutions management in networks including design and configuration of automation.
  • Experience in DMZ Firewalls IPS content filtering antispam antivirus.
  • Experience in designing and implementing secure network infrastructure.
  • Optimize DMZ and secure zones to stabilize network performance.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and security technologies.
  • Knowledge of web application architecture and web applications.
  • Management of configuration changes for Rules routes VPN S2S and C2S IPS/IDS AntiBot etc.
  • Advanced English for writing and speaking
  • Availability to work in person at our client's office in Monterrey, 3 to 4 times a week
