Introduction
As a Service Delivery Specialist, you are the face of IBM for our customers. Your clients' success depends on your ability to understand their needs and respond to requests for new services. This role is an integral part of both account planning and delivering support strategies, working to proactively monitor problems, change processes, and handle issues to ensure our customers success.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Network Admin Routing and Switching you are expected to work on Networking products or solutions based on any vendor hardware / vendor operating system software (i.e Vendor agnostic) with little or minimum support from superiors. E.g. include: Skills on Routers/Switches/ Load balancer. Typical examples of the other deliverables would be of deploying, managing and implementing networking solutions to address client business requirements. You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.

- Will be part of Escalation team and will be responsible for managing country wide customer escalation
- Ensure 24/7 availability of the production environment and lead on ground (field and on-site) L2 team.
- Will be part of technical discussion in internal and customer meeting.
- Manage and maintain Modular Routers, Modular Switches, Load Balancer.
- Define and implement network policies, procedures and standards
- Have good understanding of RFP's.
- Must have exposure of network automation
- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
- CCNP Routing & Switching/ Service Provider/ Datacenter Certification
- Good knowledge of routing/ switching, data center technologies.
- Experience/ Knowledge in managing/ supporting Cisco/ Juniper/ Radware etc.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, IP networking management and troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise of BGP, VTP, Vxlan, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, VPLS, VPLS. HSRP, VRF, AAA, GRE tunnels, SD-WAN, ACI, QOS etc.
- Good understanding of LAN and WAN
- Experience of leading the technical team. Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Min 4-6 years of experience with experience in the following areas:
- Good knowledge of routing/ switching, data center technologies.
- Experience/ Knowledge in managing/ supporting Cisco/ Juniper/ Radware/ F5/ IBM/ Symentec etc.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, IP networking management and troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise of Radius/ Tacacs, IPS/IDS, SIEM, VPN, SSL VPN, Failover, DLP, QOS, Attack mitigation,
- Good understanding of LAN and WAN.
