Your Role and Responsibilities
This is for a 2025 summer internship with the following start dates: May - August or June - September for quarter system schools.
Looking for a mechanically motivated summer student. One that has shown interest in learning the machining trade. Priority given to one's that have had prior machine shop experience. Additionally, selected intern would be trained in the operation and light programing of CNC vertical milling machines. Basic training in CAD/CAM on Mastercam would be given as part of this opportunity as wellGeneral Machining operations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Applicants should be currently enrolled in Mech/Tech certificate course or Associates degree in Mech/Tech.
- Basic knowledge of and safe use of Manual milling machines and lathes.
- Must have experience with shop inspection equipment such as, but not limited to Micrometers, Vernier Caliper's, Indicators and gage blocks.
- Basic blue print reading skills and CAD familarity a must. (SolidWorks,AutoCad, Inventor, BobCad, MasterCam)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Prior Experience in CNC programming and editing using G-Code and CAD/CAM Software, (BobCad, MasterCam).
- Motivated mechanically inclined, problem solving hands-on individual.
