What does Master@IBM offer you?
Within the scope of the 2-3 year Master@IBM program, we offer valuable professional experience in the area of a Data & AI software and professional services sales, which you will gain in parallel to your studies. You can complete the master study course at a university (or university of applied sciences) of your choice. The duration of studies depends on the respective university and is between two and three years. The volume of work allows you to focus sufficiently on your master's degree. Nevertheless, you can expect challenging assignments in a team-oriented and dynamic environment as well as many opportunities for active co-determination. You will also write your master's thesis in collaboration with your department.

Your role and responsibilities

Who are we looking for?
For our in-job master's program, we are looking for highly-motivated students from Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field courses. If you like to work in a team, work solution oriented and have good analytical skills and last but not least love to be challenged and learn something new every day then we are looking forward to receiving your application.

What can you expect from this position?
You will work closely with the fastest moving companies in the world and help them create innovation by using and implementing Data Analytics and AI technologies. In our dynamic and passionate sales team we cultivate a high team engagement and identify, develop, and close opportunities and deals with our clients and business partners that make their work work better. You will closely work with the Data Platform Leader as well as the sales team, client engineering, and technical sales to develop your sales skills, as well as practical sales experience in a highly strategic sales. Consultative sales, Data & AI technology, a faced paced environment and world leading innovation and research await you.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Business Unit Leader for Data & AI: This role involves assisting the leader responsible for managing the data and artificial intelligence business unit, potentially by providing insights, strategic guidance, or operational support.
• Strategic collaboration with Sales team experts: Working with experts within the sales team who have deep knowledge in data and AI to develop effective sales strategies and pitches.
• Collaboration with leading companies: Engaging with industry leaders to explore and possibly implement innovative business models that leverage data and AI.
• Accompaniment, support, and experiencing the entire sales cycle: Actively participating in all stages of the sales cycle, demonstrating strong sales and business acumen.
• Close collaboration across various roles: Building partnerships with multiple roles including sales managers, brand specialists, business partners, customers, and the broader IBM network.
• Creating innovative solutions: Developing unique, data-driven, and AI-powered solutions tailored to the needs of clients.
• Implementing your own ideas: Translating creative concepts into practical use cases and business cases that can be presented to potential clients.
• Coordinating new sales methods: Leading or participating in the development and execution of novel sales approaches, strategies, and campaigns to drive organizational growth.

What you bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Deep passion for technology and innovative software solutions related to artificial intelligence and data science.
• Self-motivated and independent, with a knack for solving problems and embracing new challenges.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer-oriented skills.
• Passionate about new technologies in the field of Data & AI and how they can provide business value to clients
• Comes with a sales mindset and is keen to learn how to build compelling value propositions for clients

This job is only for candidates who will have finished their Bachelor studies by September 2025 (or earlier) and plan to start with a Master's Degree in autumn 2025 (Swiss university/university of applied sciences, study course of your choice).
