Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:

• As a distro development engineer you will be responsible to maintain and fix the packages specific for PPC.

What you'll do:

• As a Linux Development Engineer, you will be responsible to develop and maintain linux distro packages and validate if installation is going well using openQA. Automation using OpenQA for installation of distros. You will also interact with the opensource communities to upstream your work.

• As a developer, you will be working in a highly dynamic team of Linux engineers. Become a distro developer and work closely with Debian,Fedora and Ubuntu community.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1 to 5 years of experience in working on projects related to Yocto distribution, any linux distributions and build packages
• Strong programming skills in C, shell scripts, python. Strong Operating systems skills. Working knowledge of computer systems architecture.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Prior exposure to open-source community work.
