Your Role and Responsibilities
For our external client we are building a new technical platform based on RedHat OpenShift / IaaS Windows Linux in a private cloud from the government. On top of this platform a multitude of applications are going to be hosted in time, delivered by multiple vendors. 2024 is still focused on the development of the platform. 2025 and onwards will be focussed on extending the platform and keeping it running / stable and performing.
As a Windows and/or Linux system administrator you will do installing, scripting, supporting the DevOps team, upgrading, and patching operating systems, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing security measures, and providing support to your project members.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1. Operating Systems - Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and management.
2. Scripting - Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
3. Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
