Your Role and Responsibilities
- As a DevOps Consultant you'll participate in many aspects of the enablement and realization of complex platform engagements, that serve as a foundation for various teams to develop and roll out their products efficiently, stable, and securely. You will advise clients and create solutions that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
- Your primary responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive Solutioning and Development of Platforms: Working on the end-to-end solution to create stable and highly secure environments, platforms with various service integrations. Use state of the art concepts and components around GitOps and IaC to achieve a high degree of automation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with key stakeholders, internal and external, to understand the problems, issues with the product and features and solve the issues as per SLAs defined.
- Continuous Learning and Technology Integration: Being eager to learn new technologies and implementing the same in feature development.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Kubernetes Certifications (CKA, CKS, or equivalent certification like Red Hat OpenShift Administrator)
- At least 3 years of experience in business and technical consulting
- Experienced in provisioning, configuring and operating Kubernetes / Red Hat OpenShift clusters, ideally in on-prem environments
- Experienced in using and developing automation solutions, IaC and/or GitOps
- Strong analytic skills to understand business context, but also operational issues and ideally solving them
- This is a highly client-facing position. The candidate must possess excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Fluent in both English and German (written & spoken)
- Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experienced at topics around Linux / RHEL, network, firewall, storage and hypervisor
- Experienced at development frameworks like Spring Boot, Quarkus, nodejs or similar
- Cloud Management, Resource Management or FinOps are known concepts and solutions
