Your Role and Responsibilities
f you are interested in growing your career, and influencing product strategy and direction, while building upon your technical expertise in the Java and runtimes space, this is the role for you.

You will help define product requirements and go-to-market strategy to solve challenges of enterprise and mid-market clients. This role requires collaboration and coordination across internal and external teams and will be visible at the highest levels of our organization.

What you'll do:
• Be part of a Product Management team focused on Java and Application Services.
• Work with customers and our field to identify necessary improvements to existing functionality, as well as define new functionality to maximize customer adoption and business value with the product.
• Work with development and testing teams to define clear, accomplishable requirements for new public cloud functionality.
• Use a combination of customer data and market research to prioritize new functionality.
• Ensure field teams have the content and context necessary to help customers leverage all functionality (new and existing) in your defined area.
• Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Keen technical understanding of Java technologies and frameworks (Liberty, Spring, Spring Boot or Quarkus).
• Technical insights into how enterprises are building new cloud native applications for the cloud.
• DevOps philosophies and toolchains such as continuous integration and delivery
• Cloud environment design and implementation
• Demonstrated experience presenting to customers and/or speaking at public events.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• 2+ years with Product Management experience, or 4+ years Technical Experience
• Keen technical understanding of enterprise best practices of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud).
• Interest in developing Gen AI applications (langchain, Llamaindex) and knowledge of Gen AI assisted development (Copilot etc).
• Demonstrated experience driving product ownership and growth.
• Product management or technical experience managing enterprise cloud and application platform technologies.
