Key Responsibilities:
• Iteration Management: Create a standard framework of Jira stories for projects, populate, review and update Apptio Target Process, facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure smooth development iterations.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with developers, testers, product owners, and other stakeholders to remove roadblocks and streamline development processes.
• Backlog & Workflow Management: Ensure effective backlog grooming, prioritization, and execution of user stories, tasks, and technical debt items.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and bottlenecks affecting iteration progress.

• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine Agile processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains and better collaboration.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track and report iteration progress, team velocity, and OKR's (Objectives and Key Results).
- Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams, product owners and leadership, providing clear updates on progress, challenges, and solutions
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including roadmaps and status reports and maintain audit ready documenatation.
• Coaching & Mentorship: Support team members in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Your role and responsibilities
The CIO Network Automation & Orchestration team are looking for an experienced Iteration Manager / Technical Project Manager. We have a pipeline of exciting initiatives that are transforming how we automate and provision the CIO network and cloud infrastructure. Your role will be to lead agile development cycles, facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and strong leadership skills to drive continuous improvement within the team.

Required Skills:
- Experience: 3+ years in an Agile leadership role (e.g., Scrum Master, Iteration Manager, Agile Coach, or Technical Project Manager).
- Technical Background: Understanding of software development processes, cloud technologies, some network knowledge, CI/CD, and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Agile Expertise: Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban etc.
- Tools: Proficiency in Jira and Agile project management tools. Knowledge of Apptio Target Process
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Required Education: Preferred - Certification in project management e.g IBM Project Management Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP or equivalent. Certification is preferred however, strong candidates with a proven track record of leading technical projects will be considered.
