Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Do you want to work in the data field, in an international environment? As a Data developer, you will be required to work in a team, and in compliance with the quality procedure. In this capacity, you work on different stages of projects, as part of an application build, a data migration or a TMA depending on your missions:

• Study of specifications, design and estimation of the different needs expressed by the client
• Modeling, writing of technical documentation and application development, design files and exploitation of modifications
• CP4I development with different technologies: Java, ESQL, Data: XML, JSON-Web service: SOAP, REST
• Development and design of Data Warehouses, reporting solutions (mainly Cognos and Business Object) and/or ETL (Datastage, Talend)
• Product testing, integration and recipes
• Delivery of developed components
• Participate in ongoing team training and skills sharing

It is important to note that regular teleworking is not permitted for our interns. Presence on site is essential to ensure adequate supervision, facilitate exchanges with other team members and promote integration into the company.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
As part of your training, you are provided with
  • Good interpersonal skills: an important quality in a team
  • Good writing skills
  • Experience with Java

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Fluency in spoken & written English to communicate with other IBM service centers in Europe
  • Spirit of synthesis and logic
  • Data and Webservice: a plus
