Your Role and Responsibilities
A highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a strong background in integration and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) across multiple cloud platforms including Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud architecture to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based applications and services.

Specifically, you will
  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions across Azure, GCP, and AWS, ensuring integration with on-premises infrastructure and third-party applications for hybrid environments.
  • Develop and oversee cloud-native application architecture in collaboration with development teams, focusing on performance, scalability, and the establishment of CI/CD pipelines for efficient application deployment.
  • Maintain cloud architecture blueprints, enforce best practices, and apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles for high availability and disaster recovery to guarantee smooth and efficient cloud operations.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring of cloud services to proactively address performance, security, and operational issues, while collaborating with security teams to uphold stringent cloud security policies and compliance standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering skill development in cloud technologies among teams, and stay abreast of emerging trends to spearhead innovation and continuous improvement in cloud services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting and integrating cloud solutions with existing on-premises systems and external applications, coupled with a deep understanding of cloud security practices and compliance protocols.
  • Proficient in applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including proficient use of automation tools, robust monitoring systems, and effective incident management to ensure high availability and reliable performance.
  • Strong technical foundation in CI/CD methodologies, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation, alongside excellent problem-solving capabilities and adeptness at leading diverse teams in dynamic environments.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Architect).
  • In-depth experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, complemented by a solid understanding of automation and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar SRE tools.
  • Proven capability in building and maintaining CI/CD workflows utilizing platforms like Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, along with expertise in infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform or Ansible.
