In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities
Ops Leads are to lead a Sub-Group having (30-40) direct reports. Based on need of the App specialisation
- Performs KTLO as well as other activities that are more complex and critical
- 90% of time spent on supervision activities
- Operations Excellence
- Prepares Supervisory Checklist to see KTLO performance data, to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Accountable for making sure that all KTLO activities are being delivered with quality and as scheduled.
- Service Delivery Management
- Manages & leads a Service Group to oversee and monitor completion of KTLO activities. Provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure team success
- Manages Team Leads - Inspection of Work and resolving key issues for Team Leads to proceed with the tasks
- Metrics & Reporting
- Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service operations performance, providing regular reporting and insights to management
- Communication and Collaboration
- Fosters open communication and collaboration within the Sub-Group and other Sub-Groups as well, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Training and Development
- Identifies training needs and develops training programs to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality service.
- Innovation
- Promotes an Innovative environment, encourages the generation of new ideas for improvement from team members

Required technical and professional expertise
1. A recognized diploma / degree in IT or related discipline
2. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software development and maintenance support
3. Possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies
4. General Understanding of Internet and Intranet server/application architecture and experience in working with medium/large systems involving multitier architecture and interface/integration to other systems.
5. Experience in implementing multiple websites/web applications on same platforms with interdependency of data and shared features will be advantageous.
6. Possess strong MS platform knowledge and skills.
7. Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions
