Introduction
IBM Zone is the one stop shop for IBMers and partners to build, show, and share solutions built on IBM technologies to facilitate opportunity progression and customer adoption. As a Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Zone's global hybrid . You will collaborate closely with the automation and leads to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations of IBM , AWS, Azure, and on-premises workloads in a scalable, secure, and performant capacity.
Your Role and Responsibilities
• Monitor and maintain the availability, performance, capacity, and continuity of Technology Zone services and our hybrid cloud infrastructure through proper response to incidents, events, and problems.
• Manage user onboarding and offboarding Technology Zone services and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

• Follow, design, configure, implement, and maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Security Lead as needed to respond to vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Create runbooks for Support personnel to facilitate common support operations.
• Collaborate with Automation team and Cloud Leads to identify possible areas of improvement and automation.
• Perform regular audits to minimize orphaned workloads across public cloud infrastructure.
• Assist stakeholders as required to support complex pilots
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift.
• Familiarity with IBM Cloud, VMware, AWS, and Azure with demonstrable competency with three of the four.
• Familiarity with automation tooling, i.e., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Powershell, Golang, etc.
• Self-starter and lifelong learner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Sense of urgency and good time management skills.
• Proven customer relationship and teaming skills.
• Familiarity with IBM BISO policies and supporting tooling.
