Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to manage key IT projects.
The Senior Technical IT Program Manager will lead and coordinate large-scale IT projects, driving cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that meet business objectives. This role requires deep technical knowledge, excellent communication, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects while ensuring quality, scope, and timelines are met.

Job Duties

  • Technical Strategic Program Manager to drive programs on Data Centre Consolidation & Infrastructure Modernisation.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with experience working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrate Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Technical expertise in cloud computing, system architecture, and emerging technologies.

  • Leadership & Executive Collaboration, Business Alignment
  • Drive the Technology Transformation, Migration, Consolidation, Optimization Roadmap and Planning Strategies.

  • Has Banking Regulatory & Compliance awareness.

Program/Project Management:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple IT programs/projects, ensuring timely and on-budget execution.
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with technical teams, including software engineers, IT architects, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
  • Monitor and control program budgets, risks, and progress, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead change management activities to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new systems.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a point of contact between business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, managing expectations and resolving conflicts.
  • Provide detailed program reports and dashboards to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that could affect project success.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans, adjusting the program plan as needed.
  • Resolve escalated issues, providing leadership and guidance to the project team.
Technical Leadership:
  • Ensure that technical solutions meet business needs and are aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Guide technical teams in solution design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide input into long-term technology strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Mentor and lead project managers and other IT professionals, promoting best practices in project and program management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation and collaboration.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelors (Must), MS in Technology (Preferred)
  • Project Management Experience of 10+ years, Total experience of 15+
  • Transaction Banking Experience with 1 or more of these areas - Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Core Banking.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT programs, preferably in a technical or software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.), and cybersecurity best practices.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
  • Technology awareness in the areas of data centre & Infrastructure such as Compute/Storage/Network Virtualizations, Cloud technologies, HCI, SDWAN, IT Operations etc.,.).
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking and public cloud technology. Able to demonstrate hands on technology experience prior to project management in their career.
