Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Industry Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

Strategic Partner: As a strategic partner, you will collaborate with clients to co-create new value. Based on their corporate strategy, you will propose strategies for digital transformation and business growth, and develop comprehensive roadmaps for successful execution.

Project Leadership: You will manage projects to bring digital transformation to fruition, while strengthening relationships with the client's executive leadership and ensuring the realization of expected business outcomes.

Technology Solution Implementation Support: Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as cloud, AI, and data analytics, you will design and support the implementation of solutions tailored to the client's specific needs.

  • Risk & Compliance Solutions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in consulting for clients in the financial industry at a consulting firm (any domain, including business strategy, business reform, data analysis, IT solutions, etc.)
  • Experience in IT vendor or SIer in promoting projects related to IT solutions for the financial industry
  • Experience in business planning or business reform in IT department or corporate planning department of a financial company such as a bank.
  • Japanese (Fluent, JLPT N1)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in managing large-scale projects for financial institutions.
  • Experience in projects related to mission-critical systems for financial institutions, from requirement definition to development, testing, and delivery to implementation.
  • Experience in overseas projects for financial institutions.
