Introduction
highly motivated and detail-oriented SAP / SF Payroll Professional to manage payroll operations for India. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while complying with all relevant local regulations and tax requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP payroll principles and excellent communication skills.
Your role and responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: This includes accurately calculating employee salaries, deductions, and taxes, ensuring compliance with Indian regulations.
- Data Management: Maintaining employee data in the payroll system, including personal information, compensation details, and attendance records.
- Compliance: Staying up-to-date with Indian payroll laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to tax laws, and other statutory requirements.
- Reconciliation: Regularly reconciling payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Reporting: Generating payroll reports for management, finance, and compliance purposes.

- System Administration: Managing and configuring the SF/ECP system, including updates, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.

Required technical and professional expertise
Minimum 7+ years of experience in payroll professional or related.
Deep understanding of Indian payroll regulations, laws, and compliance requirements (e.g., income tax, PF, ESI, gratuity, leave encashment).
Proficiency in using payroll software and tools, specifically SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
Deep understanding of the Indian tax systems, including individual income tax, corporate tax, and any special tax regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, management, and government agencies
Capacity to resolve payroll issues efficiently and accurately.

- Payroll Expertise: Strong understanding of Indian payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
