The candidate will have the technical depth and "hands-on" experience with the current status of art in Quantum algorithm and develop a new type of Quantum algorithm to solve specific industry challenges.

Also, the candidate should be able to communicate the difficult technical concept to key stakeholders such as scientists, engineering teams, and C-Level executives. This requires deep familiarity with classical state-of-the-art approaches to business problems, as well as target use cases.

As the ideal candidate, you will have familiarity with different classical approaches for optimization, machine learning, or/ and Chemistry from 5+ years of industry experience. You will also be an advisor to customers and internal teams; helping develop the quantum computing knowledge and skills of solutions architects, as well as the technical field community.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• PhD/Masters in CS related fields with knowledge in quantum computing
• Experience in ML and/or Quantum Chemistry and/or Optimziation such that the candidate should be able to write and review lines of algorithm using a range of programming languages
• 5+ years of data engineering and data science experience within specific industries.
• Demonstrated publication record
• Familiarity with classical approaches for optimization, machine learning and linear algebra.
• Familiar with Qiskit software.
• Excellent ideation, facilitation and communications skills
• Detail-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary.
• English: Fluent
• Japanese: Intermediate level(N2)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experienced in delivering a commercial application
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++
• Familiarity with Qiskit and quantum concepts and principles
• Familiarity with classical approaches for optimization
• Experience with some aspect of high-performance computing use within an industry context
• Write clear, efficient and well-tested maintainable code
• Experience with Developing scalable and highly performant solutions
• Proficiency in Python with good knowledge of Jupyter, Tensor, Numpy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch
• Experience working with distributed systems, cloud services and agile development practices
• Demonstrated ability to share knowledge via mentoring, code reviews, design documents or other means.
• Strong communication skills
• 5+ years programming experience working as a fullstack developer
• Familiarity with open source development and Qiskit (optional)
