Introduction
The Mentoring@IBM Program will connect students and professionals and will provide them with an opportunity to build a long-lasting relationship through virtual one-on-one structured learning plan and face-to-face group mentoring sessions.
The program is aimed to focus on helping students in their career planning and growth by driving them to gain knowledge and experience, expand their network and develop skills.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Program overview:
When: Starts in November 2024 - until end of March 2025
Who: 3rd and 4th year students across a variety of majors (i.e., Economics, Business administration, Finance, Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer science, Humanitarian studies etc.) with intermediate or advanced English skills.

Mandatory requirements for program completion:
- Participation in face-to-face group events in IBM office locations in Sofia (3 events for the 5-month period)
- Active engagement with the IBM mentor at least once a month in a mutually agreed format (either face-to-face or virtually)

- Main office: provides country business coverage by offering IBM high tech solutions to Bulgarian customers and serving all major industries in the areas of: Sales, IT Infrastructure, Business consulting.
- Procurement center: manages the process of supplier selection, including bid process, handles contract negotiation and other activities related supplier to supplier management across entire Europe, Middle East and Africa by participating in deal's pricing processes, accounting and other.
- Finance center: provides financial services to IBM units across entire Europe, Middle East and Africa by participating in deal's pricing processes, accounting and other.
- Client Innovation Center: provides end-to-end IT services, including network management, server systems operations, maintenance and monitoring of computer hardware and software, as well as software development.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- You must be 3rd and 4th year student across a variety of majors (i.e., Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer Science, Humanitarian studies, etc.)
- Verbal and Written English Language skills intermediate or advanced level
