Your Role and Responsibilities
Purchasing BPO Delivery provides buyer services for BPO projects commissioned by our clients. You will be responsible for strategic sourcing (source to contract) or tactical sourcing (procure to pay), mainly in general indirect materials.
We are looking for someone who has not only the skills and knowledge as a buyer, but also good communication skills to promote purchasing reform in collaboration with our customers.

In this role you will be supporting the client's purchasing department by analyzing expenditures for each item, developing and implementing sourcing strategies, selecting suppliers, and conducting price assessments.
You will work closely with our clients to maximize the effectiveness of strategic activities through collaboration with offshore and nearshore operations and buyers.
We support the design and development of processes and manuals from the buyer's perspective in collaboration with consultants who lead purchasing reforms.
We also support our clients by suggesting activities and ideas related to purchasing reform in a timely manner and supporting change through practical implementation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Japanese speaking/listening/writing/reading skill is mandatory.

- Knowledge of specific products (market environment, price structure, etc.), whether indirect or production materials, and practical experience in analysis and strategy development.
- Understanding and practical experience in competitive evaluation process for supplier selection.
- Experience in working with demand departments and user management
- Communication skills to promote reforms with the client company's management.

- High motivation to complete business reform.
- Knowledge of procurement laws or legal requirements.
